Madhupriya Srinivasan

Madhu is a Dallas based artist and educator whose work is grounded in presence, resilience, and the quiet power of self-love !
For years she lived and created from a place of perfectionism and fear, trying to chase an ideal result which took the joy away from creating and also lead to health issues.
Watercolor became her turning point. Its fluid, unpredictable nature challenged her need for control and gently taught her to release it. When she loosened her grip and partnered with the water—letting it move, bloom, and surprise her—everything shifted!

Through this journey, she learned to rest, to listen inwardly, and to honor joy over perfection.
Her art transformed with her—evolving into calming, nature-inspired paintings that celebrate gratitude, presence, abundance, and the beauty of simply being here, now.

Today, Madhu shares this experience through her soothing artworks and her playful watercolor classes, gently guiding others to step out of perfectionism and into flow.

She believes that healing and growth happens when we allow ourselves to rest, stop the never ending mental chatter and become truly present! In that presence, we rediscover our inner child, our innate creativity, and our own worth that never depended on external outcomes.

A professional Fashion Designer by training, her passion for art made her immerse herself into her lifelong hobby and become a professional artist. Mostly self taught, Madhupriya has also learnt a lot from the workshops she has attended over the years and continues to explore and grow every day of her life.

Her art has been exhibited in numerous juried art shows and is in private collections in India, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and across the USA.
