A reminder to allow yourself to slow down , reconnect with yourself and create space for joy and clarity……
This little painting feels like a deep exhale.
It’s a quiet night scene inspired by memories from my travels—trees standing gently under the glow of moonlight, their forms soft and slightly blurred, as if they’re resting too. The light isn’t harsh or dramatic… it’s diffused, dreamy, almost like it’s wrapping everything in calm.
Below, the reflection shimmers in the water—not perfectly defined, but fluid and free. The shapes melt into each other, blues blending into deeper tones, with hints of light dancing through. It’s that beautiful in-between space where nothing is rigid, everything is allowed to just be.
As I painted it, I didn’t try to control the details too much. I let the water move, let the pigments flow into each other, creating those soft edges and quiet transitions. It became less about painting trees, and more about capturing a feeling.
This piece is part of my slow down series—and it truly holds that intention.
It’s about those moments when you pause…
when the world feels still…
when you’re not rushing to the next thing, but simply present with what is.
Dreamy, calming, and gentle—
like a reminder that it’s okay to slow down, soften, and just breathe for a while.
